SHAMEFUL this was ignored by PPD and PSB. Something needs to be done as a good cop's career was ruined and shouldbe made right again.

Drenths wife had not left him or filed for divorce. Not true. She continues to be lied to by PPD like the public is...except she doesnt know they are lying.
Crockett tried to get her not to keep asking questions. Bless her heart, she doesnt realize he blew his head off and his "boys" covered it up.

Karen Vance’s document is lengthy, but eye opening. Are these guys in high school? I can’t believe these people are tasked with solving murders, managed the baseline murder and are investigating Drenth’s suicide.

About time someone (BPC) did something about the Polombo's. Seems the union (PLEA & PPSLA) do not care one bit about lying officers, sergeants, LT's and Commanders. The only one with balls big enough to really challenge the Polombo's is BPC. Hey Spencer, you need to take a class from BPC on how to get your point across without making it seem so personal for your own cause and rely on the facts, citing ops orders and actually making a point!
BPC- You should start a union and run for the right to represent officers as you seem to know the ops orders a heck of a lot better the PLEA.
I was thinking the same thing. This blog and this guy are fearless. He has taken on Jack, the Polombos, Hafkey, Gordon, Zuercher, Cavasos, the Attorney General and anyone dumb enough to cross his path.
I don’t agree with the language, but it is funny and it takes some balls to call them the names he calls them. We think it, he says it. There are some people you don’t piss off and this is definitely one of them.

Now, what are ya gonna do about it Joe? I sure hope you investigate Chuck M(double I, double L) Miiller for being untruthful when he spoke to the media on December 27, 2010 and claimed that stats were accurate. Oh wait a minute, didn't Chuck Miiller work for you at that time???
With the perspective of history and the freedom of being off
probation a few things come to mind:
1) The same corrupt crap was going on 30 years ago. The "leaders"
of today were the proteges (bootlicks) of the Wetzel Crew or the
Ortega Crew or the Hurtt Crew ad nauseum. The shredded
investigation from the Don Bolles murder, rumors of detective
assisted suspect suicides from the Luhrs building. A former IA
Chief that got caught in "THE ACT" in police van during
surveillance that was so traumatic she gave up men. What is that
thing about learning from history...
2) The only difference is that we have the spotlight (you) on us
to draw attention to our screw ups and to call us on them.
However, you need to shine some light on the cockroaches at City
Hall. Our new City Manager's travel policy to prevent others from
doing what HE did and then got promoted! What the Hell kind of
waste is it to have a City Manager, a Mayor, a Vice Mayor and a
City Council who seem to have as their sole objective breeding
another generation as corrupt as themselves while in the mean time
getting just as fat as they can off of our taxes.
3) Speaking of taxes, how about a City policy that requires us to
use "preferred vendors" that are supposed to support minority owned
businesses. This crushes legitimate competition and has the
taxpayer being charged double to triple the retail cost of an item.
We are taking furlough days, reduction of benefits etc when the
REAL culprit is the financial mismanagement of world class
proportions by Gordon and his ilk. Just for giggles you might try
a FOIA request on what we routinely pay for laptop computers (with
software) and try a little shopping like a value conscious consumer
with limited resources.
The list goes on and on and on. At this point, I don't know if we
would be better importing the talent from another city or state.
Probably be just an exchange of incompetents. Either way my DROP
is up in two years and I am the hell out of Phoenix. My regret is
that I have met some good people who live here and I have worked
with some of the finest cops anywhere. To those of you who have
not done what we good cops do, don't paint us all with the same
broad brush. Those that have lost the faith are held in contempt
by those of us who keep it every day. For those poor foolish souls
that use this site to spew groundless venom, I doubt that telling
you to kiss my tired blue ass will really change your feelings.

We believe those you refer to as “good cops” that we paint with a “broad brush” are equally culpable for not fighting the evil ones. Yeah it sucks to hear that, but its true. Folks like you allowed Chief Ass Jack to do what he did.
Cops like you tell us how you lay your life on the line each day and protect us, but you don’t have the balls to stand up to Jack Harris and the rest of his corrupt creeps?

Please! We appreciate your comments but what the Phoenix PD has is a fixable problem. it won't be 100% perfect, but it can be much better.

When I was an investigator in Babbitt's White Collar Crime unit when he was AG - the word on PPD was they are "clean as a hounds tooth". Worked with many of the PPD dicks and had nothing but respect for their abilities, ethics and enthuiasm to do their jobs. The DPS guys and the feds in the unit shared that opinion. A couple sliders with bad attitudes does not change an entire police department fellas. Each and every one of you make a big difference, each and every day you're out there doing the job. You can hold your head up high and I'd put you up against any PD in the world.

Have you ever noticed, that the most worthless individuals are always the ones that point their crooked finger at everyone else? Case in point. This self-proclaimed awesome female homicide sergeant that "out shines" her male counterparts and was cast out of the detail because she was such an awesome supervisor. Well, she obviously wasnt. It appears that she spent most of her time, medling in the personal riffs of everyone else in her unit instead of actually supervising her detectives. Rather than taking her lumps like most of her male counter-parts, she whines and cries and blames everyone else for her "everyone on the playground hates me" bullshit attitude.
This female whiner, Karen Vance, (notice there's no Sgt title), was a Field Training Officer on my training squad (92F) back in 1997. There wasnt a day that would go by that she didnt mention something about needing to suck a nice cock for motivation or needed to get layed to think straight. It made everyone uncomfortable, especially her one and only OIT that she trained. His name was Marty. He was an Ex Marine, who after being short changed by the crappy training and mentoring he got from Vance, never made probation and left the department. Marty said that when Vance wasnt studying for the Sergeants test, she slept while he hand wrote his reports. She never wanted to be first at a scene where there was a potential for violence and always waited down the street for more capable officers to arrive first. Karen Vance told Marty one night that, she wished he wasnt her OIT so he could fuck her in the back seat of their patrol car. Yes, this is that self-proclaimed awesome supervisor! She mentioned something in her testimonial, that her Lt. had a soft spot for blondes with big tits. I hope she wasnt thinking that SHE fell into that category. Her tit job was botched, her hair is bleached and she smells, especially when she has the "vapors", not to mention the do-it-yourself botox and cologen injections. Vance was a worthless officer, a worthless detective and THE WORST female supervisor that the department ever had. Dont go away angry Princess, just go away.
