You either couldn’t get or find software to ensure it runs effectively. You should have called us. We know software better than most and could have given you some solutions and some options, but it appears you would rather have people die needlessly and have crimes continue, due to your own ineptitude and arrogance.
A smart "get-things-done" leader would consider outsourcing some of this immediately (yesterday) to a reputable third party Lab to gain some ground and clear the backlog. But you of course are too stupid to recognize this or accomplish this. We will bet 27,000 is a very conservative number too. You need to figure each request probably has multiple inquiries.

First, she wears mens clothes so I think she has earned the title "Mr Montgomery". Get it right next time when (s)he is addressed. Ive worked around Dave Barnes for years and if I had a close one killed, I would want Dave investigating so it got done right!Dave doesnt screw his subordinates, leave files in his garage or talk all night on the cell phone with his girlfriend. I am not aware of any of his "friends" throwing rocks through the window of his city car or him playing house with an officer of the same sex. And he is the guy who gets transferred? Get real Phoenix PD!

As with all promotions and assignments within the police department, you do not need ANY experience to run a speciality deatil. Example: Polombo and Kotecki in homicide. Neither have EVER carried a homicide case or even a violent crimes case as a detective. They bill them selves as the best and most experinced to all the new academy officers and post academy officers in their classes on office involved shootings yet they have never actually investigated an officer involved shooting. PSB does not count as being an investigator!! Ass clown of the month Montgomery has never done anything to qualify herself as running a crime laboratory but she is in charge of it. That is why the internal workings of this department are so screwed up; decisions like this putting people in places they don't belong and are not qualifed to be. Same with Joe Knott being the homicide LT. Give me a break. No one up here supports or respects that man. He has done more damage in the last 11 months to the morale of this unit than can ever be comprehended. His only goal, and he has made it clear, is to make a name for himself, promote to commander and get back to PSB. He has said on more than one occasion that he will be here for about a year or so and than move on. Way to go Cmdr. Klima, nice pick for the homicide LT spot. You deserve the Jack Ass of the Year Award for picking Knott and allowing Polombo to remain in the unit. Not to mention what you allowed to happen to Officer Dave. That falls on your shoulders too!!!
As for Knott, he has a long history of screwing over officers while in PSB and was known to take pride in it. It seems he does not like women either, the way he is targeting Sgt. Vance. How about what you did to that Sergeant in Maryvale when youw ere there? Said she was too close to her squad so you demoted her! Didn;t you move Sgt. vance from her squad, which was very tight and had no issues, because you said she was too close to them? Sounds like a pattern Knott!!! We are all hoping Officer Dave goes after you for making it so personal against him, which was very obvious to everyone up hre. You are not a leader but a follower of Montgomery's request, which is obvious by the two of your emails back and forth. Knott: You must be hioping Montgomery is on the board for Commander promotions. You followed her "Code Red" but you got caught........
