What sickens me is the fact that Mayor Phil Gordon, and his staff have possibly visited this site, read all the info, and are not demanding a full investigation into the alleged incidents of misconduct that have been reported on this website. Remember, the PPD's Operations Orders specifically demand that all allegations of misconduct, whether anonymous or not, will be investigated to the fullest to punish those who are guilty AND/OR exonerate those who are innocent.

Homicide Sergeant Mike Polumbo having an affair with a subordinate while being responsible for first line supervision of the Baseline Killer and Serial Shooter investigations. Ask those who worked the case and pull their cell phone records and overtime slips. If they match, you have a real problem!
Homicide (and former Internal Affairs) Sergeant Mike Polumbo keeping copies of criminal and administrative investigations in his unsecured garage at home. Ask his ex-wife. Many of these Interanl Affairs investigations most likely contained personal medical information protected by HIPPA and ADA.
According to postings, Sergeant Polumbo allegedly abandoned these reports in his garage when he left his wife and moved in with his subordinate Homicide detective girlfriend. What if some of the Baseline Killer/Serial Shooter info was in his garage and somehow made it into the hands of a neighbor, burglar, thief, etc., and was used to entrap the suspects in custody? Sounds wild but things like this have happened in Fulton County, GA, and Los Angeles, CA.

This is his second DUI since being a PPD supervisor. His first (administrative DUI) occurred in the mid-90’s while a probationary sergeant and the second earlier this year in Gilbert. Are you going to wait until someone is killed in a DUI accident before you do anything. That will sure make for bad headlines!
Lieutenant Steve Soha and his rage issues involving other off-duty, drunken brawls on Mill Avenue in Tempe, citing on-duty parking attendants with parking citations while in an undercover capacity as a narcotics detective, verbal abuse of subordinates, etc.
Lieutenant Steve Soha’s threats against another lieutenant during an Honor Guard event which forced the victim lieutenant to obtain a Restraining Order against Soha (the sad part is the victim lieutenant could have beat Soha silly but chose not too due to the fact that he is a professional and did not want to bring discredit to the Honor Guard during a public event. This is the type of employee you should be promoting to Commander…not some boob simply because of the color of his skin).
Assistant Chief Tracey Montgomery’s alleged conduct with Gilbert PD officers on the night Lieutenant Soha was arrested for DUI.
Postings and rumors alleging Sergeant Ron Snodgrass having an affair with a subordinate and displaying nude photos of his wife to subordinates, on-duty, while in a public area in Internal Affairs Bureau.
Assistant Chief Andy Anderson and his off-duty road rage incident while chief of Internal Affairs. His 15 year old daughter was with him and could have easily been an innocent victim had the other driver been armed. Chief Anderson should have been terminated on the spot simply because of all the times these road rage incidents turn into killings of innocent citizens and then our city’s politicians going on television telling everyone how tragic these events are. Just the fact that he placed his minor child in such a dangerous situation that she could not escape from was enough to charge him criminally in my mind. Make an example out of Chief Anderson and send a strong message to the entire city that road rage will not be tolerated in our community much less by the chief of Internal Affairs (Mayor, you really missed a heck of a media opportunity here! Just think how powerful your message to the community would have been regarding zero tolerance of road rage in our community had you publicly held Chief Anderson accountable!).

Mayor Gordon, how can anyone hold some rookie cop responsible for excessive use of force, or even something as minor as missing court, when you have these much more serious allegations of misconduct posted on this website? Any failure to investigate these allegations of misconduct cannot be allowed to occur if you want to maintain the credibility of our police department! If the city will not investigate to punish the guilty and clear the innocent, I pray the New Times Newspaper, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, or one of the Investigative News Teams will look into the matters reported on this website. BPC why don't you arrange and schedule a special meeting w/City Council allowing police to attend (off duty) and citizens that are fed up w/the corruption. Some city council members are aware of some alligations but maybe not to this extent. Invite MCSO Chief Brian Saunders. Perhaps if the city Council won't meet with us then form a citizens group bring all documentation and public records to support the termination of these ASS Clowns and Mayor Gordon and file suite. The PPD is top heavy and needs to do away w/chiefs and commanders. Get back to basic police work and save on the city budget. It is obvious from pics posted (evidence) chiefs have too much time to play and need to be demoted to patrol or retire. Mayor Gordon is to busy with his personal life now to properly represent the citizens of Phoenix.
Rumor has it ....the reason for Phil Gordon's divorce was his wife found Jack Harris between the sheets.
Sheriff Joe and Mayor Gordon, you must have the city auditor or professional standards look into the way PPSLA pays its board members. Not saying it has happened but this could be very serious if taxes and soc security arent being paid.

Lets just say for all of you inquiring minds, Lt Soha will be pleading guilty to his DUI next week at the Mesa City Court. He also hired Larry Kazan to try to get him out of it.
I was listening to the J. D. Hayworth show and heard him talk about the Jack Harris, DROP, 5th-Star fiasco! For those of you that missed it the pension board actually directed that Harris not ever be called police chief but he has been throwing that and his 5th star in everyone’s face. Then I guess there are City rules that we have to have a person in a designated position as a police chief. I also enjoyed that part about him being a puppet for the mayor. True all of it. It was so much fun to hear all of the manipulations out in the open. Maybe that is why they are scared to take action against the corruption in the police department because the police department is party to their unethical games.
You know, it wouldn’t be so bad it he was good at his job but instead he has put his unqualified and unskilled friends in high positions and the department will be stuck with their ineptness for many, many, years to come. He is by far the worst chief I have seen in 20+ years.
I heard that the main reason why they let Harris get away with this fiasco is that they did not want to do a Police Chief search because they did not like any of the options on the 4th floor and they did not want to hire someone from outside (someone on the police chief circuit as I like to call it where they move from department/agency for a contract period and then leave.)
What is really going on is they are grooming Jeri Williams to be the first female and African-American Phoenix Police Chief. While she is smart and dynamic, I unfortunately have seen her backstab people to the 4th floor and then tell another story to their face. She will throw anyone under the cart, so to speak, to look good. But she is the favorite of Alton Washington (who adores her) and Frank Fairbanks so this will probably happen.
Why else would our very best commanders like Jeff Halstead and Frank Milstead be shopping outside the department for chief jobs? They know the writing is on the wall… What a loss for the Phoenix Police Department if they leave. This game playing is also why we lost Sherry Kiyler to Chandler…
I dont think the issue is about Lt Soha..the issue is your Department Command staff. It seems that the Maj-of comments are people bitching but no real facts. We what find interesting and fascinating on how this site has grown! We completely understand and see how many “come here to bitch” – but we feel it is necessary.
This site began solely as a bitch/rant against the diminutive Louie Tovar, down-syndrome Huntley, bullet-in-the-ass Brokaw and the cackling hen Renteria. We ranted and complained, got it out of our system, and now feel as though we are taking on the entire corrupt establishment of the PPD, the Mayor’s office and the City Manager. It is a muturing process.

We at BPC want to turn these Rants into action as well. This is why we attended the CALEA accreditation meeting and will continue to attend any appropo venue.
We would like nothing more then to go to each City Council meeting and every venue to call out Jack, Phil and Frank on the bullshit in the PPD.

Wow..The last posting had such anger and the information that he had! That needs to be reported, but again, it never finds it's way to the city counsil.Have you lost your minds, statements like 7 people dead as a result of your Crimlab, and your going to keep it to yourself and not report something like this to the proper people..I'm no expert of PPD and im just looking at all the comments and this is a great web site, but by not taking this to the newspapers, Mayor Gordon, City Counsil, the Governor, someone, and if your comments are true, your just as bad as those ass clown Depart heads...withholding infomation like that is WRONG...What a joke...
