The handsome Lauri Burgett runs the HIKE squad (High Invasion Kidnapping Enforcement) and now owns a company that is tied directly to her own job.
Can a cop write tickets, and then own the towing company that tows your car?
NO.
Can a cop tow your car and then own the impound yard it is towed to?
FUCK NO.
Can a cop provide liquor to a strip club?
NO.
Can a cop arrest you, and then own the bail bonding service that gets you out of jail?
NO.
Well you can if you are Phoenix police commander Louie Tovar - but otherwise NO!
...But Lauri Burgett can run and manage the HIKE squad, and still start a production company that video tapes her kidnappings, hoping to make a TV show about it.

Why does the acting police chief Joe Yahner and asst. city manager Ed Zuercher put up with this?
Well for Ed Zuercher, it's simple. Even his own kid knows he's labeled a fucktard on the Internet. She looked him up! Joe Yahner is just a ginormous pussy who lost his testicles and still lives in the shadow of his former Jack Ass chief.
After all that has happened with the kidnapping stats and the dismissal of Jack Ass Harris, it's incredible to believe that Lauri Burgett is still a cop.
