Let's not leave out planting of evidence in the Baseline case by Alex Fermenia and others who work closely with him. Let’s be sure the law suit is based the prosecution of innocent scapegoat Mark Goudeau and misleading the victims and sending them in a goose chase for closure.
The DNA is INCONCLUSIVE, but because the dics at PPD have hung their hats on this and hyped it for what it is not, now it is coming back to bite them in their corrupt asses.
Nevermind the affairs, the nameplates..lie after lie, coverups..etc..etc..What really matters ..the meat of every single persons story involved is The Phoenix Police Homicide department would have gone to their graves keeping the needless death of 7 people a SECRET if it had not been for the fortunate timing of the affair, the divorce and the consequent series of events that followed. So the bottom line is the Integrity (or lack of)..of the people in the homicide department and every employee that knew about it. And, a big thanks to Lt. J. Knott who started this entire process by kicking Barnes out of homicide to try and further his career. By Knott thinking about himself and ruining the career of a good homicide detective, the union went to bat to defend him and everything got exposed.
Good job Lt. Joseph Knott, you deserve the ASSHOLE of the year award for trying to screw a good cop, trying to further your career and look at what has imploded on yourself.
Goes to show you how such an inexperienced person (KNOTT) put in a very specialized position (HOMICIDE LT) can cause such great harm to so many. But, in the end, if it wasn't for ASSCLOWNS like J. KNOTT, none of the crime lab issues would have ever been exposed.
If this is true that a lawsuit is forthcoming, I am sure there is going to be dozens of co-defendants. From the top of the crime lab to the executive staff to the homicide unit itself.

Don't know Nielsen got another shot at the academy when he cheated on the first trip. He milked the system and turned on the heat after his crash and promotion. All because he wanted to get a medical as a Sgt. That way he can get a bigger ego than what he has already.
