We heard about this story sometime ago and had some preliminary discussions with the family.On July 4, 2007 a kid named Danny Ramirez was shot and killed at a party. The current detective on the case is the ever useless, Heather Polombo. Two years later this case is no closer to being solved then the day it happened. The original cop assigned to the case was Richard Polk – you remember the Phoenix cop who was caught buying kiddie porn and the cop rumored to be good friends with, and trading many emails with little Louie Tovar?
Well after Polk was arrested, this case was assigned to Heather Polombo which meant it went from a Porno moron, to a pure imbecile. While Heather sends bogus emails from her own computer, lies to PSB about a relationship she had with her old boss Mike - no time is devoted to investigating the death of Danny Ramirez.
It appears the Mead family knows who killed Danny, everyone at the party knows who killed Danny, and the rumor is that the weapon was a stolen gun from Phoenix cop!

Our hearts go out to the Mead family and you're right Ms. Mead, Heather Polombo isn't good enough or smart enough to handle your case or even be a cop. There is no hope for this case getting solved with a lying snatch like Heather Polombo involved. Now if the kid was murdered in a parking lot in a parked car or involved male DNA…then maybe she could help ;)
It really a shame that no resources are assigned to the Ramirez murder, but they can find and assign dozens of resources to find Heather and Mike Polombo’s missing nameplates?
The article stated the Phoenix PD don't have enough evidence to prosecute for the Ramirez murder even though they know who did it, yet they had enough evidence to raid a citizen's home looking for .50 cent nameplates and submitted that for prosecution (!!!) and now are trying to submit to the Attorney General??!!?? We await the "Turn Down" letter from Terry Goddard!

After reading the Investigation of the Name Plate Caper..Especially Heather Polombos Interview, it begs the question How could a woman suffering from paranoia, migranes,outbursts of crying, and emotionally broken down who spends her time having admitted extramarital affairs and suicide attempts function effectively at work..let alone SOLVE A MURDER!
Maybe now Heather will need to take another stress leave after this posting.
This is unbelievable. I have lost all faith in the Phoenix PD and will never call them out if I have a problem. Imagine having Heather Polombo, Mike Polombo, Steve Soha, or any other FOJ show up at your door? How could you trust them?
Every citizen should go buy a gun and take the law into their own hands as long as Jack Harris is chief.

This Committee should be made up of ppl that have no connection at all with the PD no one in their Family or circle of friends or neighbors should have any connection with the pd then we may get ourselves a Police Department again because we currently do NOT have one.
Heather Polombo is too mentally unstable to work in homicide and should be removed from all cases.
The family has asked for a new detective and they should get one.

I am not a fan of Heather- she did a horrible investigation that a friend of mine was involved in..apparently she was a rookie detective then.
If she is unstable or having breakdowns how is she capable of working? Thats unsettling

Here's what you need to do:
1) Initiate a PSB investigations against Heather Polombo. Send a letter like Jeff did to Alton Washington and CC Joe Yahner. Go right to the top or Stan Hoover will hide it.
2) Do a public records request for all "investigator notes" by Heather Polombo and Richard Polk on this case. You need to contact Patti Schofield at the PPD. Patti's number is 602-534-7110. Be nice to Patti (or Daisy if she calls you)as these are 2 good woman in a shitty job and working for shity bosses. Request all emails (inbound and outbound), text messages from their cell phones related to this case on both polk and polombo.
3) i suspect your councilperson may be Thelda Williams. Send a letter to your councilperson and schedule an in person meeting with the result being a demand for some action.
4) Call Lt. Joe "balloon" knott and demand that a new detective be assigned to your case - based on information and belief that is posted on this site. Heather should not be working your case or any case. If Joe Knott blows you off or denies you, intiate a PSB investigation against Joe.
When you are on the phone with Joe Knott, ask him why NOW he is going through the effort of incorporating himself to protect his assets. Why now Joe? Timeing say everything.
5) Dont give up. Dont stop being a torn in the side. Be the squeaky wheel.
