Thanks to BPC's Phoenix Police Friends!It looks like the missing name plates visited Vegas this week with the Arizona Homicide Investigators Association Meeting, at the Gold Coast Hotel in Las Vegas. We hear this meeting was as exciting as watching paint dry and could have been renamed, The Arizona Homicide Investigators Cure For Insomnia.
We won't ask "Why?" with such a city deficit, a contigency from Arizona had to go to Las Vegas to the shithole-of-all-shithole, hotels for a meeting. We can only assume Excaliber and Frontier were sold out. Why Knott (pun) invest money locally in AZ? Sedona? Flagstaff? Tucson? Naw...that would actually make too much sense and be too practical and prudent!

Can someone post stories of "real" corruption instead of the rant of a childish cry-baby that didnt get enough recognition for a very small part of the job he was paid to do... wasnt called up to the stage with the rest of the detectives to get his little certificate. Waahh. Don't know if it is true but I heard Road Rage Andy Andersons new nickname is Press Rage Anderson.
Heard he went to PLEA office and had a blowout with PLEA exceutives over a press release of their generous donation to silent witness for information on the young girl who had been killed in a recent gang shooting.
Word has it the Mayor may have witnessed the arguments and that PLEA called the forth floor and told them Press Rage Anderson has been trespassed from their building.
Note to patrol officers, if you see a older pocked marked man with a terrible comb over entering 1102 W Adams, see if he has been trespassed from the property. Then do what you were sworn to do, make a arrest. You will be an instant heroe!
I just read the PLEA website and saw that "Road Rage" Anderson was indeed trespassed from PLEA property. I fiind it amazing that an Assistant Chief cant keep his temper in check during an important news conference to find this young girls killer. Maybe he was upset because he did not come up with the idea of a news conference who knows. The fact that he was trespassed from the property speaks volumes about his temper. The fact that he tried to intimidate a women who works at PLEA also speaks volumes because this guy could not intimidate anyone. He has to be the most unintimidating person I no.
Ill do you one better, a peep told me PLEA wrote a letter to the city manager today asking for a misconduct investigation on Andy Anderson. That should spin him up a bit. It will be interesting to see if a investigation is done like would be done on some poor patrol officer smarted off while on duty. I think another e-mail request is due for Press Rage Anderson. You know somebody asked him about it on e-mail. Wouldnt it be great if Andy made a admission on e-mail never suspecting the public could see it?
I call upon the president of PLEA and president of PPSLA to make a written request that all of the allegations made on this website be investigated. The city auditor should be called upon to complete the investigation to keep it impartial. This will clear the innocent so thier name quits showing up on this website.
Why does Mark Spencer and Mark Hafkey sit back and let thier members be accused of the things written on this website and do nothingo? Step up and defend your people! That is why we elected you and pay our dues! Remember, Operations Orders say all complaints even if anonymous, will be investigated to protect wrongly accused emplyees. Asst. Chief Trespassed from PLEA Office
On Thursday October 16, 2008 a press conference was hosted at the PLEA office where numerous media outlets, City politicians, and neighborhood leaders were in attendance.
The purpose of this press conference was to announce the partnership of PLEA and PLEA's attorney Michael Napier with Silent Witness in increasing the reward monies from $5000 to $12,000 in order to assist in bringing to justice the persons responsible for the murder of Melissa Vigil.
Several members of police mangement were in attendance to include Asst. Chief Andy Anderson.
Prior to the start of the press conference Chief Anderson took it upon himself to pull PLEA's public relations consultant aside and confronted her for having the press conference and allowing it to go forward.
The consultant is employed by PLEA and performs her duties at PLEA's direction.
PLEA finds it odd that while police management wanted PLEA to cancel the press conference, they were in attendance and actively participated in the press conference.
The PLEA board has an obligation to protect its employees and agents from abusive and/or intimidating behavior. Because of this Assistant Chief Andy Anderson is no longer allowed on PLEA property.
A formal letter of complaint was forwarded to Deputy City Manager Alton Washington.
Certainly a trend of anger and confrontative behavior by Andy Anderson. Chief Harris cannot look past this one for concern of him going off and hurting someone next time.
Mark Spencer: Why are you not writing a letter to city manager listing all of the allegations from this website? Clear the innocent, hold dirty people accountable and this whole blog will go away. Do your job Mark.

The point I was trying to make was PLEA should step in and get an investigation started on the allegations made on this website. Doesn't matter if it an officer or manager that is involved. PLEA just happens to be the only sane, reasonable organization associated with the PPD right now. PLEA is the only organization that has the balls to get this stuff investigated.
Now, step back a momemnt. PLEA gets this stuff investigated and numerous supervisors and managers are found guilty of misconduct. Dont you think this will help next time an officer goes to the DRB for mis-handling evidence, going off on a civilian, being involved in a Road Rage incident, writing love letters on city computer, etc. Whatever discipline is given to these managers when, and if, an investgation is completed can be no worse than what is given to an officer sometime down the road. Example: If Sergeant Polombo is found guilty of placing reports in his garage and gets a "coaching", the next officer who does it can get no more than a "coaching." Right now, the officer would go to the DRB. Does this make sense?
By the way, FUCK YOU ANDY ANDERSON! You never blink an eye at begining an investigation on a subordinate and I am proof! I hope hell reigns over your head on your latest fuck up! You are a disgrace!
You do have to give credit to Chief Robinson for being the only chief that has the balls to meet with PLEA. The chiefs have been told not to talk with PLEA. Chief Robinson understands this is a terrible thing and has the balls to meet with the largest employee organization in the department. The others, like Andy, stay silent or try to intimidate PLEA represenatives. Wake the fuck up Andy, the days of intimidation are over! Hopefully, your days of employment are over sooner!
Clearly a trend of anger and lack of control is present. Chief Anderson may get away with this type of behavior at home, but not representing the PPD. He should be sent to the DRB since he now has a prior! Then, do something different and promote someone based upon skill and experience, not just a FOJ. Promote someone like G.G. or J.K. who have personality, true interest for employees, experience in ALL phases of the PPD and respect from the troops.

I think Blake McClelland and Kevin Robinson are the only chiefs who give a shit. You may not always agree with them, but they do the best they can considering the idiots they are surrounded by. The others either only take care of their friends, break the rules, refuse to speak with PLEA or are scared to death to make a controversial decision. Then there is Andy, a short timer I hope!
Hang in there Kevin and Blake. Take control of the organization and make changes necessary to bring things back in line. I support you both! The others have really recently disappointed me. Promote those who are worthy, those who have worked in the trenchs, those who are respected by their subordinates. You know who these commanders are. Take them and you will lead the organization.
Let us not forget our Executive Chief Tom Lannon. He should be held accountable just as much for the corruption on this site as the other chiefs. He has been made aware these issues and in on making the decisions leading to the corruption. At times he would not even meet with citizens that had concerns involving the PPD because he did not want to get involved. PLEA's frustations are understandable! Here's another position that could be cut for budget purposes.
I agreee with you comments about Tom Lannon but come on, the guy just is not 100% there anymore. Stan Hoover on the other hand needs to go soon along with his Road, Press, Radio Rage buddy, Andy Anderson.
Blake and Kevin both like boys, while Tracy likes girls. These 3 have never stood up for what is right and only stand up when the wind is blowing in their favor.
When you consider the real idiots on the 4th floor they lead the pack.
When it comes time to clean house and replace the 4th floor inhabitants we should look at the lieutenant or sergeant level and bypass commanders. The current crop of commanders don't have the capacity develop beyond the mental age of three or four year olds.
At this time, I firmly believe that the next chief will have to come from another agency.

You need to meet with all of City Council and attend the Public Safety subcommittee and professionally continue to tear Jack apart and expose the corruption of the chiefs. Reading you CALEA statement shows you are professional, polished and capable of bringing them down.
Thank you so much for doing this for all Phoenix Police Officers. There is a place for you in heaven and in the hearts of many officers in PPD. We all understand you own plight and appreciate you putting your neck out and exposing all the FOJs. You have friends in Homicide, the chiefs officer, FIB, PLEA and almost every precinct in Patrol. Don't ever feel you are alone.

Peep told me Andy Anderson got quite an ass chewing in the chiefs office on MOnday. I was told you could hear it all the way down the hallway. Remember, officers and sergeants dont get ass chewing. They get investigated. Get up there PSB George and show them you have the guts to do what is right. You know about the allegation. Dont wait for some chief to tell you to do your job. While your at it, flick Kim Humphrey on the ear as you walk past him. I heard this happened to him all the time when he was growing up.

Yes we did meet with a nameless Council Member and gave them all the information posted here (the pension boondoogle, Snodgrass/AZpost/Sexually harassment/Side business with Dan Olson, the Goudeau investigation on TWS that was hidden, and other stuff etc.) We were encouraged to meet with others in City Council and keep our fight going. It is apparent that some in City Council think Jack is an Ass and an empty suit. What concerns us as citizens is the lack of empowerment City Council appears to have. We also have some large national stuff we are going to do to rock their world and will continue our message long and hard. In November, we will communicate a call and email blitz to everyone at City Council so that we may all inundate them with all these sordid details posted here.
We continue to get calls and emails about how “the 4th floor is crazy about finding out about us" and these funny rumors how Steve Soha is using the Dept of Homeland security and is seeing who is posting and how he has some software that tracks you and us and blah,blah blah. Let us set the record straight for all you.
