However, today we will discuss Andy Anderson.
Assistant Chief Murray L. "Andy" Anderson of the Phoenix PD is in charge of the Investigations Bureau. With an extremely bad comb-over, he runs Drug Enforcement, Family Investigations (that's FIB with the Bullet-in-the-Ass Brokaw, Down Syndrome "Corky" Huntley and former Little Louie Tovar), Property Crimes, Public Affairs (this used to be Chris Crockett, but he is now out there with Dildo Martin on night duty because he couldn't run PAB) and Violent Crimes (our old buddy Klima the Mormon.)
Andy is known mostly for his great Public Affairs “Road Rage" encounter, while trying to give his teenage daughter a driving lesson. You can read the full story here.

It happened back on November 6, 2006 and the deets are simple: Andy was out teaching his daughter how to drive. Some guy in a truck honked his horn and Andy threw a road rage moment, following the guy home. When this guy's wife sees her husband arguing outside with Andy she states, she calling the cops. So what does Andy do? He makes the A-hole cop move by flashing his badge and claiming, “He is the cops.” Imagine the humiliation of being his daughter, driving a car, and being ordered by her A-Hole cop father, to chase down a truck to the owners house! Andy apologized afterwards, but like Mom used to tell us, "Sorry is a cheap word and if you have to say you're Sorry....then it's too late." The female lieutenant who responded at the scene was a good friend of Andy's, so the situation was downplayed and no report was filed.
Andy should have been fired on the spot. As many posts have stated, Phil Gordon had a great opportunity to make an example of Andy, but he didn’t. Andy should have been put in patrol and called out to every Road Rage incident in Phoenix to personally see what the ramifications are and what his obtuse Road Rage incident could have caused; but that didn’t happen either. Andy was the head of PSB when this occured. Andy is lucky to be alive, considering his actions. Not only did jeopardize the safety of his own daughter driving, but everyone around them. All of this comes from a man who at the time was the division commander of the Professional Standards Bureau of the Phoenix PD.
Andy, in case no one has officially told you – You are a 100% BPC certified AssClown!Andy has some skeletons in his closet, which he would like to brush under the rug. Like the domestic violence claims from his first wife that were called into the PPD. Yeah, we at BPC found that way back in 1986/87 police were called out to his old house near 15th Ave. and Northern on a domestic violence claim, where his wife feared for her life. Our police friends at BPC have copies of the reports and will give us their copies without having to do a records request. The report shows his wife was hysterical crying and so was his daughter.
So it appears Road Rage wasn’t Andy Anderson’s only momentary lapse of reason. It appears to be a pattern with him – losing his cool – with his ex-wife, his daughters driving lesson and now a simple email request! Think we don’t know about your problems Andy? Well we do and when we find more we will be sure to post it here.
We hear that Andy is so enraged about us requesting his emails, he can’t see straight. He is going to where Polombo went a few weeks ago – mumbling to himself, angry outbursts, and trying to find what Phoenix Police Officers provide us the data. You see Andy thinks he is above getting his emails requested and even tried to rally his fellow Asst. Chiefs to prohibit them, even though legally he has to give them. He sent them out to City Legal for review.
Andy: Here's our personal message to you, since no one else will counsel you, or tell you what everyone else seems to know...
Much like Tracy Montgomery you lack leadership and discipline. No one will follow you and no one respects you because you don’t have the traits of command and control. You lose control too easily and make rash, haphazard judgments that jeopardize yourself and those around you. The only thing you can command is a 16 year-old girl, crying behind a steering wheel or an ex-wife cowering until your fellow officers come to rescue her.
We hear that Mrs. Andy Anderson reads this board quite often. Mrs. Anderson, how you tolerate Andy is beyond comprehension. It’s only a matter of time before Mr. Road Rage goes off on you, much like he did on your poor daughter almost 2 years ago. We can only hope your daughter was not too humiliated in school and in the neighborhood by her reckless father.
So Andy Anderson, we have just one question for you…
WHERE ARE OUR RECORDS REQUESTS FOR ALL OF YOUR EMAILS?
We hear that PSB has a nice conference room at 111 West Monroe and Pat Calia (sp?) will allow us to view them, before we commit to procurement. How about it Andy? When can we come down and visit?

What the hell happened to the Phoenix Police Department that I once cherished and took pride in working for? Perhaps I was blind and didn't see what most of these so-called "leaders" were made of and what their true intentions were. However, after 30 years of law enforcement I can testify that, in fact, there were true leaders "back in the day" that believed in honesty, integrity, honor. Sadly those people are retired and the values listed here no longer exist.
The so-called "administration" of this car-wreck of a police department talks of "enlightened leadership" but they have absolutely no idea what that even means. Nor do they care to know. It would actually be hilarious if it were not so damned serious. These "enlightened leaders" are the first ones to wet their fingers to extinguish the flames of a newly lit candle, probably ignited by a new sergeant who actually has the guts to give a shit about his or her troops. It is an unwritten policy that as a supervisor, the worker bees are merely paperclips that are easily replaced. Those poor bastards are the chewing gum on the soles of these uncaring "leaders".
To demonstrate, I provide you the following:
*Enough with the uniforms already! The Phoenix Police Department has many outstanding patrol officers who attend to their duties every day. They do all the sweating, take all of the abuse, cry when a baby drowns, and live with the affects of this shitty world in their lives. I don't give a rat's ass if an officer wears a "911 pin". What is important is that we (all of us) express our sincere gratitude and respect to these officers as they leave the precinct to a destiny that may find them never returning. Tracy Montgomery, how can you sleep at night? I'll tell you how. You have never done 1% of the amount of honorable work on the street as these officers. Shame is your only friend and it visits you often.
*The Professional Standards Bureau can only be described as a large collection of dumbasses who were not hugged enough as children. Is there a "real" man left in that bureau? Why don't you assholes look at the title of your bureau? Professional. Standards. Again, you don't even know what those words mean. I used to believe that there was a need for internal affairs. Sometimes bad cops need to be weeded out so the rest of us can work with honor. However, the present day "investigators" have got it all wrong and they don't give a shit. Well, for me, I spit on all of you and what you stand for. Why is it the responsibility of the Professional Standards Bureau to spy on working cops who answer radio calls? I thought patrol sergeants were suppposed to supervise those employees. What will you do if the officer needs your help? Drop your video camera and try to find your gun under your briefcase? Who are you to judge an officer who uses common street sense when making a decision during a call? The term "rat", so aptly laughed about by another rat, Soha, ironically applies. Ironic because the very people that Soha calls "rats" are the same people who have defended him time and time again. This should enlighten us all as to the very nature of not only the one remaining alcohol-soaked brain cell left inside Soha's skull but also the dishonor being displayed by the Professional Standards Bureau.
*Who is running this ridiculous Dr. Seuss zoo we call a police department? Common sense would tell anyone that, in order to prevent crime, patrol squads should be at full capacity or higher. It sickens me to see so-called police officers lounging around precincts, exercising on duty, and clad in clothing most traditionally reserved for vacations. Is this defined as staffing a police department? While patrol officers are busting their humps to keep up with radio calls, ice tea is being sipped at an alarming rate. Everything's right with the world as long as you're not in patrol. To add salt to an already open wound, the same T-shirt and shorts crowd doesn't hesitate to ask for assistance and wagons from patrol. My typical response is "fuck you, toss them in your car like real cops used to do".
*We only need to look at a very short list of names who are determined to become famous by their ongoing antics to realize that this must be a practical joke and at any moment we will wake up and discover this was only a funny dream. The list is not necessary in this entry since this web site contains all of the names of those we all know and disrepect. Just be advised that all of those on this list and those not yet discovered will some day retire and/or resign. What legecy do you idiots leave behind? What thoughts and memories will you have during those golden years after the numerous ass-fuckings you have rendered? Curled up next to a crackling fire (alone I'm sure), will you think back to those honorable days when you treated the youngest of rookies with the utmost respect? Will you remember giving an employee your full attention? Or will you remember the shame of putting in the hallway on duty while cases went unsolved? Will you remember your egotistic attempt to fuck an innocent squad of detectives out of their positions simply because you didn't like them and they didn't suck your ass upon command? Will you remember the numerous NOI's that sucked the wind out of the sails of good, decent, hard-working police officers because you thought that someday the administrations would see you as someone who "backed management"? Will you remember any of this or will you continue the delusion that this was all for the good of the department?
*It is now time (though long in coming) that ALL honorable, decent, family-loving, honest, and couragous employees of the Phoenix Police Department begin to stand up and be recognized. We will bow our heads no longer and with much risk to our personal reputations, vow to not take this shit any longer. It is quite apparent that this will be a difficult task. I need only point out the obvious, that 99% of the postings on this web site are anonymous (mine included). Therefore, I make this promise to the lowyest probationary officer to the highest in command: From this moment forward I will fight corruption when I see it. I will stand up for honesty and integrity despite the cost. I will do all in my power to restore the pride I once felt. I will treat all honorable police officers with respect when it is earned. I will defend with all of my might those who are targets of the "Administration". I will point the bright and blazing light of truth at the dirty bastards who play games with our lives. There will be no place small enough for you to hide.

I read this site quite often and I promise you that it is read by practically everyone in City Hall. We have figured out an easy way to circumvent the blocked access to the site.
Whomever started this site, should be given a Key to the City. Never has anything existed to hold City of Phoenix Personnel accountable for their actions. While I don't neccassary like some of the vulgar comments, it is raw and truthful.
If you read this Blog owners post about how they would "clean house" with the PPD, it shows they are articulate, knowledgeable on managing people and knows how to bring people together to solve a problem. We need passionate and articulate people like this running our city.
Keep up the good work. This is read by City Council members and some very influential people. Change is coming.

I have to take exception to your bashing of Asst. Chief Andy Anderson. Yes, as I heard that he admitted, he made a mistake in judgement regarding the incident involving the maniac driver who terrified his daughter when she was learning to drive.
His reaction, flipping the middle finger and verbally confronting the offender was probably the same kind of reaction that many people would have when their child is threatened.
I dont recall that the incident resulted in physical assault so I am not sure that it is as big a deal as it is being portrayed. "Fired on the spot"? Probably too big a disciplinary hit for a long term, clean record employee.
Anyone who places their juvenile children in a dangerous potiion should be held accountable for their actions. I agree termination might not have fit the offense, but the Mayor and City Manager missed a great opportunity to prove to the public that PPD will not tolerate this type of behavior from its officers or citizens. A written reprimand sends no such message!
I cant wait to read Road Rages emails. A little birdie tells me there is some pretty interesting stuff that is going to embarrass or ruin the career of other law enforcement agency heads. You know whom Im talking about! If you are a law enforcment agency head I recommend you detach yourself from Road Rage at all cost. Your text messages and emails are coming. I am coming after you with $$$ in my eyes if I see what I expect. You may find yourself as humiliated as I am.
