I was made aware that Steve, "Drunker than a pak-0-Indians" Soha has some priors against him in Tempe. I also got info that he has a few Injunctions Against Harrassment levied against him.
The Tempe incident involves an assault, where he left the scene (?) plus he has the recent DUI.
I find it very interesting when I go to maricopa dot gov or Tempe, I find no record of them. Clearly he's using his power with Jack and the Homeland Security/Honor Guard ruse to hide this stuff. Maybe this is something they worked out at their Sunday pick-up games?
So I am trying to get this straight...this dude Soha has some anger issues and gets a DUI with no consequences? Who the heck is he blowing down there, and it ain't his car!!
Could someone please provide to meet dates and deets of any of this so that I may do a records request? I need to get the Phoenix newspapers working on this stuff and then ranked in Google on the first page.

Steve is going to self destruct!
This guy needs to be fired.
Let me share just what I know about Steve:
1) Steve was involved in a drunken fight on Mill Avenue on/about 1997. Steve was cited by the PPD for an administrative DUI after driving home from the fight drunk. I believe he was also disciplined for his actions during the fight.
2) Steve was disciplined by the PPD for writing a parking ticket to a Civilian Parking Officer. Why was Steve cited you ask...because he was an undercover Narc and cited the Parking Officer who had previously given him a justified ticket weeks before. Who needs an undercover Narc that writes Parking Tickets? Certainly not the citizens of Phoenix!
3) Steve threatened to kill another lieutenant during an Honors Guard event at a funeral on/about 2004. Both Steve and this other lieutenant (who is a great person!!!) are paid overtime wages to represent the PPD at special events. To protect himself, this lieutenant was forced to get an Order Against Harassment against Steve. Great way to showcase the PPD at high profile events I say!
4) Steve has been married three times... ending in bitter divorce when his wife left him.
5) Steve is alleged to have been having a affair recently with another PPD lieutenant's wife (she is also a PPD officer, but not a very good one...previous stripper some say). Allegedly, Steve then threatened violence against the commander for telling the lieutenant of the affair. Both Steve and the other lieutenant's marriage are now going through divorce. Nice!
6) Steve is a E-9 in the US Marine Reserve…the highest enlisted rank there is. He is supposed to be a role model for youngsters like your kid and mine before they are sent off to war. I wonder if the Marine Corp. has Court Martialed him for his DUI last month? Anyone know?
God help this man since nobody is doing anything to help him as he self-destructs. I sure wouldn't want him responding to my house on a domestic violence considering what appears to be an unstable use/threat of violence against others!
Dont forget to mention the lawsuit that has been filed against a sergeant Soha allegedly demoted unfairly. I hope this doesnt cost the citizens of Phoenix more cops when a huge payout is made to right this poor guy who was demoted.
I also agree with the other poster who says the lieuternant Soha threatened is a stand-up guy. Soha is lucky this lieutenant didnt kick his ass right in front of god and everyone else after he was threatened. It would have been the most one-sided fight witnessed by the citizens of Phoenix.

Soha has proven during his illustrious career with the Phoenix PD that no one (and I mean, NO ONE) is ever out-of-bounds when he needs to crush them.
Sadder than the fact that this prick is still a cop, is that he is obviously so very well protected by his pals in higher places. What a bunch of corrupt assholes that would permit such behavior! Trust me, he's not smart enough to pull this off by himself.
Word of warning to the Public: Lt Steve Soha is a lunatic and cannot ever be trusted. In the most recent past, he personally destroyed an entire squad of detectives and their sergeant and guess who "investigated" the allegations of misconduct against Soha...Stan Hoover (a not so bright member of the Phoenix PD Internal Affairs). Not only did the entire squad get tranferred along with their sergeant, but Soha is still in his position acting like he cannot be touched. Maybe with this web site and related blogs we can at least put enough pressure on the police department to move this corrupt, insane bastard to a non-enforcement position. Perhaps, supervising the meter maids since he has such a wonderful past with them!
Honestly how can it be justified that someone so clearly unstable is still allowed to be an officer at all? My safety is in the hands of someone like this? Obviously he’s a little, um, special … but … DUI, assault? (does your badge get you out of everything?) Come on… he should have been canned a long time ago. no one even likes him so I doubt anyone would be too hurt if he ended up working security detail at Wal Mart. Also just want to add some details to a previous post:
The whole affair with another Lt’s wife… true, and yes the female officer (we can call her J) was previously a stripper, and no she isn’t a very good cop either, a little unstable, but hey that may explain the attraction between the two of them. (let’s just say J has some anger issues that she needs to work out, I don’t think she liked it very much that the affair came out, but hey who would like getting your ass gets kicked to the curb) They should have their guns taken away, crazy people with guns… yea sounds like a real good idea… Steve needs to be fired and officer J there can become Tracey Montgomery’s new lover, I hear Tracy has quite a big crush!
Several members of the department are watching and waiting to see how "JACK" will cover this up. There isn't a rug big enough to sweep this under. Stanley, I can't believe you covered another one up for "JACK"! The Phoenix Police Department has enough pending law suites and EEOD complaints, why do we want to promote more at the citizens expense.
one: someone's personal life is their business. i am sure no one writing on this site is without sin. what do you care about someone's personal life?
two: it clearly appears that there is a more personal/anger issue from some of the writers on this site. from an outsider's perspective, there is a man who is a cop who made an error by drinking and driving. i know a lot of people that have done this, not that i agree, but they are not hated. nor shown passed out on toilets and humiliated at their place of work.
three: maybe this cop needs help. instead of attacking him and causing even more adversity, perhaps he made need a friend, co-worker, or spiritual guiduance counselor. i would love to read all about the misfortunes from the "anonymous bloggers" that are so vocal about what should happen to this person. i am not saying a slap on the wrist, however, is is quite disturbing how the force can be so corrupt to their own kind. in reality, people like myself already have a negative perception of cops in general. by ostracizing one of your own, in reality you are putting a spotlight on the entire force, including yourselves!
four: i think all individuals on this site that are sharing personal information, including stating things such as undercover cop and other insider information, should also receive some type of disciplinary action as well. and i am saying this as a taxpaying phoenix resident. how disturbing that the police force would show photos of a man on the toilet. that is beyond revolting. i sure as hell wouldn't want a photo of me on the toilet, ever. you people all need to get a life. do your jobs and help your co-workers.
Lets just say for all of you inquiring minds, Lt Soha will be pleading guilty to his DUI next week at the Mesa City Court. He also hired Larry Kazan to try to get him out of it.
This site is just full of hypocritical people who think they have never done anything wrong and have no faults. Usually people who point their fingers at others are that way. Sure he may have some faults but honestly who doesn't. He also has a lot of good qualities which I know for a fact! Sure he does need to take responisbility for his actions but you ignorant people need to worry about yourselves.
