Jeoffrey Hynes was part of the Steyr-AUG incident that happened back in the mid-1990s. A few cops lost their jobs over this.
Jeoffrey Hynes delayed his career for quite a few years and remained a lieutenant for quite some time as a result. In essence, a few cops bought guns and lied about how they were being used. Jeoffrey Hynes was one of the officers who lied.

Being on the Brady list does not mean you cannot testify in court. Get your facts right.
They even tried to sue over the Steyr-AUG incident and lost
I don't put a lot of credence in the Brady List. I have a friend whose name is on there and I know exactly what happened. PPD screwed him over big time and let the real fruitcake stay on the force.
