Some Background on (Murray) Andy Anderson - Asst. Chief with the Phoenix PD - written by a Source to BadPhoenixCops

This came across to us as a comment via Hushmail. In the past, We have spoken to cops that were called out to Andy Anderson's house many years ago, by his wife on a domestic violence call. We thought this new summary was worthy of it's own blog posting.  Enjoy the read and thanks to the source who provided this summary.

Speaking of Assistant Chief Andy Anderson, rumor is this loser thinks he could be Maricopa County Sheriff. Andy-baby (is this what the female lieutenants call you?) was overheard telling a "CONFIDANT" that he has been discussing his interest as Maricopa County Sheriff once Sheriff Joe Arpaio is indicted by a grand jury.
Apparently, the strategy allegedly is Sheriff Andy get appointed then run as the incumbent…how convenient!

"Sheriff Andy" was allegedly overheard saying he has been meeting with County Attorney Rick Romley and members of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors making sure they all knew he was interested in Sheriff Joe’s job. Hey dickface, the world already had a "Sheriff Andy" and that was in Mayberry, North Carolina.

Besides, you don't have a son named Opie (based upon your womanizing reputation in the PPD an illegitimate child out there possibly, but no Opie). You only have a 15 year old daughter who witnessed your road rage incident and was put in grave danger based upon your conduct that sunny afternoon…just read the Internal Affairs report which was sustained against you!

In this one the reporter refers to "Sheriff Andy as "Aggro (aggravated?) Anderson" and says Sheriff Andy "blew his lid like he was Yosemite Sam and had just been mooned by Bugs Bunny" during his road rage moment. Is that why he calls him "Aggro"?

In this one, the reporter basically calls Sheriff Andy a "dog without a bite".

In this one the reporter talks about the road rage incident where Sheriff Andy had his 15 year old daughter chase down a guy in a truck who had cut them off in traffic. The reporter repeats a statement from PLEA stating Sheriff Andy should have been arrested for disorderly conduct after his road rage incident involving his innocent 15 year old daughter driving his car. Lucky the other party didn't have a gun or Sheriff Andy could have been facing much more serious charges???

In this one the reporter calls Sheriff Andy a "flack". No Andy, this is not a compliment and has nothing to do with the “Aflac Duck.”

In this one, Sheriff Andy complains to the reporter that the reporter was being unfair....poooooor baby; too bad, so sad!

This is the second time in about one year that Sheriff Andy lost his temper and required; 1) the police to be called when he instigated a road rage incident with a private citizen, and 2) he had to be trespassed, (yes, criminally trespassed), while he was ON DUTY, IN FULL UNIFORM, while representing the Phoenix Police Department at the PLEA office. Potential employers: It is my understanding that Andy has been the subject of two Internal Affairs investigations regarding his inability to control his temper. Once involved his road rage incident, and the second involved his outburst at the PLEA office.

Do you want someone with this background working for your company or institution? Imagine how you will be looked upon by your superiors if Sheriff Andy goes off soon after you recommended hiring him! Nothing I’d want to be involved in! I'm sure he would be okay...but what if he wasn't??? Who would have ever thought he would go, in police uniform, to the officer's union (PLEA) and have it out with several community leaders resulting in his criminal trespass from the PLEA office? Is that what you want? Do you want
someone who cannot control themselves having an outburst with your boss?

Here is a link to the letter PLEA President Mark Spencer wrote to the City Manager complaining about Sheriff Andy. Pay special note to Spencer's statement that Sheriff Andy is showing a "serious unprofessional pattern of conduct” based upon his road rage incident and the criminal trespass incident at the PLEA office.

Hey numnuts....don't use retired Sergeant Andy Hill to do your politicking or brown-nosing around the County Board of Supervisors for the Sheriff’s job. A man with your background and character will never, ever be given a job of any type of responsibility once they know your background. Not even that job at USAA Insurance or Central Arizona Project (CAP) Police Department. Yes, we have heard you have been bragging about getting these jobs as well! Don't talk shit about others who put in for these jobs in an attempt to make yourself look better. Besides, all these companies have to do is interview anyone above the rank of lieutenant to see what you really are...that is with the exception of Jack the Hack...he is your butt-buddy isn't he????

Then, if that isn’t enough, all they have to do is obtain your Internal Affairs file through a Public Records Request to see what you have been up to the past two years or so. I can’t think of a single employer who would risk having violence in the workplace with someone who has a temper, much less has recently exhibited a pattern of the same!

Sheriff Andy, you fucked with the wrong guy it seems. Think about who it could be. A lot of people on the list…isn’t there?

Sheriff Joe....aren't you curious about what makes Andy Anderson think you are going to be indicted soon? Inside information maybe? Time to “bug” his office or telephone to see what information he is getting? Hmmmm! Just remember Sheriff Joe, you heard it here first!
