Please make sure to watch CBS Channel 5 news this week at 10 PM.We have been told on Monday, Nov 10th there will be a story on the Mark Goudeau case (and the documents we submitted to Channel 5) and Thursday Nov 13th a story will be on the Ineptitude of Tracy Montgomery and the Crime Lab. We anticipate both stories will not be favorable on Chief Jack Ass and the PPD.
When we meet with these reporters they admit the hesitation that many of you have, directly handing them evidence that shows the corruption of Jack Ass Harris and the 4th Floor.
That’s OK! We completely understand! It's your job and your career is at stake. The possibility of those bullshit NOIs, being demoted to patrol, or being in the position that no other group or department will hire you since you are "tainted" is daunting and traumatic to you and your family.
You are in a difficult position, but we aren’t! Jack and his Assclowns can't fire us or issue NOIs against us.
That’s why you must give your evidence and documents of the corruption to BPC, so that we may sit down and explain it thoroughly and bluntly to these reporters.
We sat down for a good hour reviewing and discussing the missing TWS/Mark Goudeau police report with the folks at Channel 5 and explained all the characters in the charade and cover-up like Mike Polombo, Benny Pina and Alex Femenia. We also made sure Wendy Goudeau and her legal team got copies of it too. CBS told us, "We sat down with a bunch of cops, but they all said to come to you [BPC] and your site, because you have all the docs or know how to get them."
This is probably the best compliment we have ever received.
We told them things that as cops, you would probably never have said! CBS 5 also asked to establish a steady relationship with us to provide assistance in these types of stories. We'll see how Channel 5 does on these stories before we commit, but remember, we can only do it with your help!
So make sure you watch Channel 5 all next week and keep sending us your documents.

They are scrambling on the 4th floor. Baloon Knott is upset and looking for the leak. Polombo is about to blow (no, not the Mrs., but you never know on that topic) and the 4th floor is pissed off. Great job BPC! Keep it up! Hey Polombo---HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. AAHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. LOL LOL. You are such a potato head.
See what happens Andy Anderson when you are not in compliance of public records law. Hopfully that will be disclosed.....you refusing to give documentation, your media rage incident, road rage driving class and the latest blast of rage and anger at PLEAs press release.
The producers at channel 5 have your picture on their poop deck, so don't try and crash the top story that will probably get them an award.
BPC: I heard Montgomery sent several items of interest over to DPS for analysis. Did you get the cost the City of Phoenix had to pay DPS? Why several $$$$ spent for a new lab if we have to outsource? Send Phil Gordon that bill along with his floating art! He wanted Harris back not Fairbanks, or so........ Fairbanks says.
This is only the tip of the iceberg. The handling of the Goudeau case was based on lies, ineptitude and total corruption. Hopefully this is the start of the unraveling of all the outright lies, false testimony, planted evidence and so on. Keep bringing the information you all have forward!
I smell a Special action for failure to comply coming for Chief Andersons e-mails. They have been ready for a month sitting in the chiefs office. Wait until the person who has them is disposed on how long they were forced to sit on them and who told them to wait.
Cant wait to see Chief Anderson on the stand explaining to the judge why most every public records submitted to the police deprtment is returned in less than 21 days but his took almost 21 weeks. What does the Ops Orders recommend for discipline when in contempt of court?
Can someone tell me why Mark Hafkey has his mug in 11 photographs in the Fall 2008 newsletter? Take a look at the photo of him and Larry Jacobs on page 2. I cant read John McCains office sign cause the glare coming off Marks head. Powder it down next time like newscasters do. Now I understand why Larry isnt smiling. Should it be re-named the Mark HalfBrain newsletter?
Will the AG's office investigate the PPD now? Based upon the documents that went forth...ie cover ups on the Goudeau case and corruption at the helm of Jack Harris and Phil Gordon? What is it going to take 60Minutes or Dateline to come in here and report the findings?
BPC, have you contacted the national media yet? DO IT ! BLOW THESE CORRUPT ASS CLOWNS OUT OF TOWN.
After watching the airing of Channel 5’s piece I continue to be amazed at the ongoing witch hunt and inaccuracies and omissions of factual information. Ch 5 did bring up the crime lab issues, but they weren’t even accurate. The Phx crime lab did not lose the swab. The swabs were so degraded, the lab could not get any useable results, so it sat on a shelf for a year. Enter DPS, a year later which claims they have new technology to amplify degraded, minuscule quantities of DNA for analysis.
I did find it interesting that the man interviewed was placed between a rock and a hard space. I mean what was he to say – the lab LOST the swab OR it was TOO DEGRADED for analysis.
Ch 5 mentions the Y-STR was used to single out Mark. First of all, if you’re in law enforcement, you know that the Y does not point to a single person, but a paternal line – brothers, cousins, uncles, nephews, their sons, etc., and that an arrest cannot even be made based on Y-STR. Honestly who knows what DPS thinks they have since the swabs, which were dirty and had been wet, were totally consumed with nothing left for further testing. Nothing.
The STR analysis is more discriminating, of which Mark is only consisted with 3 loci, not the 13 required to be called a DNA “match.” Again, law enforcement professionals know that rarely, if ever, can a person even be arrested with so few loci.
The swabs were taken from the Lara sisters who were assaulted in a park in Laveen near their home. The suspect rubbed dirt and spit on the women, who were also wet from running in the sprinklers. Water is the number one environmental factor that will breakdown and degrade DNA. It will literally wash it away.
The DNA from the Lara’s was also a 3-person mixture which is nearly impossible to analyze because of all of the peaks and valleys. Especially with the male DNA as a minor contributor, the entire male DNA cannot even be detected.
At best the DNA used against Mark is tenuous and inconclusive. There wasn’t even a CODIS hit on Mark since he matched so few loci. His name was provided to the DNA tech, Lorrain Heath, who fished his DNA out of the database.
As for Lorraine Heath, the State’s “expert” her DNA experience is limited to only two real working years as an analyst, her prior short years of experience were as a lecturer. (Those who can’t teach.)
This pipsqueak technician called local law enforcement after fishing Mark’s DNA out of the database and said she had a match! Mark was arrested that day! At the Lara trial under cross examination Heath was asked if she explained the limitations of her analysis to the police, and her response - “no.”
Heath has since fled the country and now resides in Canada. .
I have yet to see local news media interview an uninvolved real DNA expert on this case. Any DNA expert worth their weight can explain the extreme challenges of analyzing a 3-person mixture, the low number of loci matches and how 100s of other men in this city alone will match those same 3. Not to mention the challenges of analyzing DNA that has been washed away or degraded by water.
With the avalanche of uninformed and inaccurate facts by the media there isn’t any possible way Mark will ever get a fair trial in the county.
I cant wait until the airing on Thursday regarding Chief Montgomery and the fact that she sucks. She is indeed inept, a horrible excuse for a leader. The PPD has helped her a great deal, it has made her learn how to be a GREAT LIAR, at work and in her personal life as well. Her inability to see the big picture, the uniform issues she has, the crime lab problems, her personal life is a mess! I even heard that the women she had an affair with(yes the MPD wife) went back to being straight after being with Chief, OUCH.
I cannot believe the commander who spoke on behalf of the department on television last night was one who was once demoted for lying about an affair with one of his officers. He would be fired and decertified if that happened today. Channel 5 needs to do a public records request for his demotion report and then consider the source.
To the post from Nov 11 at 0746... What is the percentage match for 3 out of 13 loci? Please cite your source for your answer.
How much creditability as the top detective can Polumbo truley have? The famous "future author" can't even find his own damn name plate. How hard is that!
Heard the nameplates arrived at the
DPS lab for DNA testing with a note attached (direct order)from Benny Pena. Help PPD out by holding on to the second swab just in case we would be fortunate to loose it and make sure the results are put in word doc.
That swab was never lost. The commander who said that was Klima. He knows nothing about what really took place with those swabs. The swabs were in the lab the entire time and the lab knew it. The lab mis-led the investigation team for months, saying they had tested everything. DPS found the "missing swab" and informed the entire investigation group about the find and the fact it led to Goudeau. The crime lab goof who mislead everyone is still a supervisor at the lab with the initials RS. He should be held accountable for the deaths of the seven innocent victms, prosecuted for criminal negligence, fired and pay for what he caused. He is one of many who were aware of those swabs. What about the "crime scene expert" in charge of all the evidence with the initials "MM". He never caught the error and all he was tasked to do was go over all evidence. Another one who should be held accountable for what took place. What about the FIB detectives who took the swabs and were part of the task force. They knew it was never tested but failed to mention that fact until it was too late. It was one big fuck up and the department will never admit it, maybe a jury will see what really happened and award those families what they deserve. That should bankrupt the city!
The CITY needs to step in (Mayor? City Manager?) and start over from scratch with that lab. It all falls on them. That lab has costed more people their lives than Goudeau and the serial shooters put together! It is sad the from the Mayor down to the executive staff that they all allow to let the lab "protocols" dicate what is done. Detectives have spoken up, complained along with the county attorney's and it always falls on deaf ears. Detectives have left on their own, some have retired and some have been kicked back to patrol for speaking up about the lab. It is a down right shame and it is CRIMINAL.
"The case is not simple". You are so right Chuck! Concealing their mistakes and covering their vices and inconsistancies would not be a simple task.
Millions of citizens should be outradged when the "other police report" gets exposed and how it was covered up (Cmdr. Benny Pena)and not investigating "the other suspect" (still on the loose) in the Baseline Killer case.
Chief Kevin Robinson and Cmdr. Benny Pena did not want this report and information available for public records request for media and public information. They had their "ONE" suspect and the city hesteria came to a close.
Phil Gordon and Jack Harris your "Grand Stand" has tumbled and crumbled. Both of you should be investigated along with Kevin Robinson and Benny Pena for holding evidence and not investigating all leads given by patrol officers.
Don't think about investigating the officers that was ordered to put the information in word doc. We are certain PLEA will have something to say about that.
MEDIA RELEASE: Attention all officers......if you should receive an NOI and Stan Hoover calls you in for an investigation on this missing report, tell him "we were fortunate that we lost the evidence".
Chuck Miller you are right, the case is not that simple. I would want to refute the story out of embarrasment as an officer selling your soul to cover up for the Ivory Tower. Yep! with your record you could be the next chief.
Harris, Montogmery, Anderson, Vermeer and baloon Knott all marched into CBS CH5 news station yesterday trying to get them to stop the story, intimidating them. Obviously it did not work. Their goal was to stop the story from airing. They had no credibility and were told the story stands as is! What a bunch of goofs. They should all be embarassed for representing the PD and should all retire/quit together.
To the poster who asked "What is the percentage match for 3 out of 13 loci? Please cite your source for your answer."
I'm sorry, not entirely clear on what you're asking. There would literally be 100s of there suspect in Markcopa County alone that would match the same 3 loci. Any DNA expert (not the bs State's) will tell 3 is too low to even make an arrest. A 3 loci match will not produce a CODIS hit because it is too low.
Goudeau is innocent. No evidence, forensic or otherwise, leads to him. Good cops hear of the cover ups in the case.
So sorry I missed this if you can create a link on here to watch it that would be great.
Keep up the great work, see you on 12/18!

Theres no shortage of people with checkered careers
Is there an employee who...
was fired after defrauding an auto parts store by taking two items but only paying for one,
got his job back,
was a school resource officer and took a teacher to lunch but would not return her to class despite her protests then lied and got on the county attorneys Brady list,
got bounced out of a specialty detail after taking property from a search warrant scene,
and now works as a property crimes detective?

According to the Mesa Municipal Court, Phoenix Police Lieutenant Stephen Soha pleaded guilty to DUI in October.
Gilbert police arrested Soha in March 2008.
According to Gilbert police, he was driving with a .142 blood alcohol content.
A court document shows Soha pleaded guilty to DUI on October 1, 2008.
He received a sentence of 10 days in jail, but only served one day in exchange for attending alcohol education classes.
Phoenix police said they completed an internal investigation, but they have not yet released the full results to ABC15.
