The comment made by Darrell Ankaro on his radio show on June 26, 2008, about having your head in the sand was off the mark. In fact Mr. Anderson you have your head so far up Jack Harris’ ass, you are going to get colon cancer on your nose.
It is clear to me that you have been trained in the art of corporate communications and public speaking. I am a corporate communications specialist and served as a public relations officer for many companies. My degree is in corporate communications with my concentrations in law, finance and business, so let’s agree that I am on your level – or better yet – you are on mine!
Your canned answers and you calling from an officer’s funeral were a great ploy! I found them to be glib and trite. Were you also holding a dying kitten in your hand? Did you have the poor officer’s widow on your arm? Perhaps you had hungry children in the background to have you appear softer? You are out of touch and clearly are not educated on Unions. You know nothing about the unionization of this country nor understand their purpose. You are incorrect when you state that Marc Spencer was not a representative or spokesmen of the Phoenix Police. As a matter of record, Marc Spencer represents the heart of the Phoenix Police.
While Union membership has been declining for quite some time, the importance of Labor Unions should not be discredited and the fact that your own union president calls you out on an issue should not be undermined. The Unions in the United States represent the worker against obtuse management in many industries. While today most prevalent with teachers and police, the Union is there to protect the common worker and negotiate benefits and working conditions from management. Its underpinnings go back to decades of abuse probably starting with serfs and fiefdoms and the abuse and neglect supposed leaders have placed on the common worker. Those leaders in the Ivory Tower, clearly lose touch with the workers, and start managing P&Ls and conducting damage control, rather than worrying and caring for the common worker. It is so blatantly apparent that you, other assistant chiefs and chief Jack Harris are out of touch. Your first responders need help and you are refusing to give it.
As you so eloquently stated, “You work for Jack Harris” and are part of the management that PLEA and Marc Spencer perpetually fight over, equipment and rights. I might advise you that claiming you work for Jack Harris is not a badge of honor, but a disgrace and you should be ashamed of it! If Marc Spencer is telling you there is a problem, then there is a problem!

You have lost touch with your constituents, and the 4th floor leadership organization is not representing the Phoenix Police Department. Sixty weapons do not adequately help the first responders in the Phoenix Police Department. And your only argument was, “Did Marc submit a request?” As a leader it is your job to provide the equipment resources and tools for your team to do their job – with or without a records request. Falling on the sword of bureaucratic paperwork shows how obtuse you and the rest of the Phoenix Police have become. Your officers are out gunned and you try to hide it by claiming that, “Marc released these emails without the approval of the Phoenix Police.”

a few months ago you had a post on Sgt. Mike Polombo of the homicide unit and his having an affair with his current wife whom he was supervising.
a little more info. all of the rumors were true. everyone in the homicide unit, PSB and the 4th floor, to include gold ole jack harris, new this. it was covered up by PSB. there was an internal investigation, which also included him calling chief robinson a nigger, countless times, him covering up an internal investigation involving former chief bill lewis' son, a current phx pd sergeant, alleging he raped a girl. polombo got hold of the investigation, assigned to him by chief lewis, and made it go away. he interviewed the victim and got her so screwed up and confused he wrote it up that she was seeking revenge and changed her stories. than chief lewis gave polombo praise for clearing his son and gave him gift cards to local establishments. polombo also took home countless investigation files, which included personal records and medical records. PSB went to his house and recovered all of these files, and made that go away.
as for his current wife, she was known in maryvale precinct as "blowjob heather". she was known to give BJ's to several officers in the parking lot after shirt. i have spoke to numerous officers who received a BJ from her. There was also the time she went crazy and put her gun to her head. commander harry markley took the gun out of her hand and put her on stress leave for a few weeks.
both heather and mike polombo lied in the internal investigation. a witness verified the affair to be true and gave the names of several other witnesses to verify the affair. the investigation was stopped and no other witnesses were ever interviewed, per open of the chiefs, believed to be jack harris, a good friend of polombo. it is all there. do a public records request for the psb investigation and read it. imagine an internal investigation with several witnesses and it is decided not to interview them all, and than the investigation goes away. probably the same thing that will happen to commander louie tovar and his detective friend brokaw and sgt. huntley. speaking of louis tovar, his good, personal friend was former detective mike polk, arrested on child porn charges recently. him and tovar use to trade several XXXX rated emails back and forth, on the city computer. you think this will ever come out. no way. tovar sent many himself.
back to polombo. his ex wife made several allegations on him during the divorce, one which was he admitted he was having the affair with his employee. PSB dismissed everything she said as an angry ex-wife, never following up on any of it. by the way, all of those personnel files that were recovered that polombo stored at home, the ex-wife was the one who called PSB and said to come and get them or see them on the 5 o'clock news. they went and got them. another cover up.
sgt. polombo continues to work in the homicide unit with his wife and even supervises her from time to time, complete violations of the departments general orders.
sgt. polomo is known through out the union (plea) and the department as a dirty cop who lies and covers investigations up for the 4th floor. he was jack harris' "goto" guy.
there is a lot more on him. do a public records request that the mayor, city council, psb, entire 4th floor, plea, ppsla, county attorney and several others got with a list of all dirt polombo has done over the years. i am sure the city will refuse to give it to you but PLEA and PPSLA each have one. by the way, sgt. huntley is now in a unit called NIBIN. a do nothing assignment for a sergeant. support only, no enforcement at all, buried inthe basement at 620. the former sergeant had mental issues so that should tell you where they send people in trouble, kinds like transit for good ole louie tovar.

Rumors are a seasoned homicide detective was recently removed for "whistle blowing" on the crime lab. There is suppose to be an article in the PLEA RECAP due out next week highlighting the "tip of the iceberg". Sounds like the 4th floor is up to it's antics again trying to put the lid on more corruption. Word is the Mark Goudeau serial killer case is involved in the "cover up".
There is a lot of corrupution going on and i have some good info. Let me know what you need? The 4th floor is also trying to figure out who everyone is who is giving you info so they can silence them with discipline.

Like Louie Tovar calling me a dickweed, Brandon Huntley & Anthony Brokaw malicious prosecution tactics, Tracey Montgomery and her wild parties in Ahwatukee, the suicides of Alonzo and Billy and Robinson's involvement in them. How about investigating Andy Anderson's road rage and how he remains a leader, or Steve Soha and why our tax payer dollars are paying to pick him up at home and taking him to/from work each day because his DUIs have taken away his driving privileges? How about investigating the pictures on Snodgrasses desk and the accusations against him?

I'd like to see more on the Mike Polumbo matter. If his realtionship with a subordinate is true and that it occurred while Mike was suppossed to be supervising the Baseline Killer case, why doesnt the defense attorney for Goudeau get his hands on Mike's phone records, and all the other "cover-ups" he has been alleged to have been involved?
I believe Mike is a piece of dirt and has gotten away with way too much. And he now supervises the only Police Unit that handles Death Penalry cases, and his wife works for him. Wow! I'd sure hate to be accussed of murder!
If I were the Goudeau Defense Attorney, I'd subpoena Mike's ex-wife and see exactly what he was doing, and where he was, when he was supervising the Goudeau case. They were still married then but Mike was having an affair with Heather and his poor wife knew it. And, if there were files left in his garage, the Goudeau Defense Attorney has a right to know this through Discovery. What is some important piece of information was in one of these files and his ex-wife threw some of them away. Think about it!

Can you please create a new Blog post reference Mike Palumbo and his shenanigans? A man is about to be sentenced to death while Mike was playing stink finger with one of the detectives working the case. Shameful!
On July 15 an anonymous poster talked about the cover ups, in particular in the Mark Goudeau case. He/she also stated “There is a lot of corrupution going on and i have some good info. Let me know what you need.” I’m here to ask that you please let me know what it is you do know that will help Mark Goudeau. Mark is innocent and is in for the fight of his life. We do know the truth is on our side, but certain people in law enforcement especially detectives like Palumbo and Fermenia and will do absolutely anything to hide the truth – these men are monsters. There is undoubtedly corruption and cover-up among Jack Harris and his managment team. Polombo worked for Jack Harris when Jack ran PSB, so it is well known that Polombo is one of Jack's boys or FOJs. It is unfortunate as citizens that we need to rely on him to investigate homicides. It makes you want to move out of Phoenix!
I think there is a direct correlation between the mishandling of evidence and the evidence presentated at trials(and what will be presented) with DNA as a critical factor. If there was indeed mishandling of evidence, then all trials should be mis-trials that relied on the Phoenix PD and/or DNA.
Based on what I see, I only hope that Mark gets a fair trial or as someone else suggests, you subpoena Polombos ex-wife and D. Barnes to spill the beans.
From an outsider who never meet Mark, I saw a lot of press conferences, suspects a pats-on-the-back. Perhaps as you state, they found a black guy in the neighborhood and got tired of working the case.
Don't expect any help or honesty from Andrew Thomas, Phil Gordon, or Jack Harris. It's an election year!!
Check back to this site often, as many cops post here and they will be your best allies and tell you the truth about the evidence.
