This is a great article by Shanna Hogan. She got all the facts correct. The comments Andy Hill made are a joke. That guy was not involved in anything with this case and only reported with he was told to report. It is a shame the department refuses to do anything about this information. This should be one of the biggest internal investigations ever but good ole Jack Ass Harris will sweep it under the rug. It will take an outside federal law enforcement agency to properly investigate the corruption in the PPD. The city council should be ashamed for not stepping up and demanding this be looked into.
What the Phoenix PD fails to repeatedly understand is that the public will not tolerate abuse on citizens. Take Rodney king for example. It didn’t matter that he was high on drugs, 6 foot 2 and had a rap sheet. Forget that he was speeding away from the cops. The only thing people remember is a black guy getting the shit kicked out of him by some power hungry, scared cops. There is nothing worse than dirty cops who hide, plant or cover up evidence.
This will end badly for the PPD. Why not just investigate Terry Wayne Smith? If the guy is in prison, why not test his DNA? If there is a match of 3 loci or better then Mark Goudeau needs to be freed and Alex Femenia, Benny Pina and whomever else was involved should be put in jail.

Also, don't forget these were "the" case documents stored in Polumbos garage for an extended period of time. Separated from his then wife, left ("ABANDONMENT") boxes of files for an extended period of time until his then wife called PPD and demanded they pick the Baseline Killer case files up or she was going to notify the media.
Polumbo was too busy getting blow jobs from Heather during this time to care about the murder case files and evidence in his garage. Maybe this explains the botched up famous Q-Tip with ?DNA? along with the blood stained shoe and a ring that did not match Mark G.
Could it be due to Polumbo's "mishandled" filing and storage system "other" case evidence was kept in the garage and mixed in with the Baseline Killer evidence when the PPD came over to pick all items of interest up?
Bottom line ...Without a Reasonable Doubt: Mike Polumbo and Jack Harris FUCKED UP and need to be prosecuted!

Alex Femenia never investigated it at all. It took PLEA and a meeting with Kothe, Spenser, Barnes, Colman, Bolton with Keith Manning (Rusty called in and was on speaker phone) to get this out. It happened in early August of 2008Manning apparently called Andrew Thomas on his cell phone and said “we’ve got a problem” and left with the report that doesn’t exist. How about we get Manning’s cell phone records and match them to the date and time of the meeting to see if he called Candy Andy? How about we subpoena all those cops and see what they have to say?
“All of that information was submitted to the investigators and the county attorney. There can’t be anything hidden, because sooner or later it comes out anyway. So there’s no reason for us to do that.”

Danny Walker was arrested for the sexual assault of the Lara sisters, another Baseline crime. The arrest of Mark is just the continued FUs of these stupid SOBs.
